Our Travel Info
Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti ecosystem spans 30,000km², stretching from northern Tanzania into Kenya’s Masai Mara. Its grasslands host the Great Migration—over 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras, and 500,000 gazelles, the largest overland animal movement on earth.
Kidepo Valley National Park
This is Uganda’s only cheetah population. This is aardwolf, caracal, bat-eared fox, Guenther’s dik-dik—species found in no other Ugandan park.
Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo is Uganda’s best-kept secret.
It is not vast like Murchison. It is not famous like Queen Elizabeth. It receives a fraction of the visitors. But for the traveller who seeks intimacy—who wishes to walk the savannah at eye level, to track game on foot, to experience Africa without crowds—Lake Mburo is essential.
Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls is Uganda’s largest and oldest national park. It is defined by a single, spectacular phenomenon: The Nile, compressed from 300 metres to 7 metres, plunging 45 metres through a narrow gorge.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most visited and most biodiverse protected area. Its landscapes are extraordinarily varied: savannah, wetland, forest, lake, channel, volcanic crater.
KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Kibale is not Uganda’s largest park. It is not its most famous. But for the traveller who seeks primates, Kibale is unrivalled anywhere on earth.
BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
To trek here is to enter a world that predates human memory. The trees are ancient. The silence is profound. And somewhere, hidden in the thicket, a silverback regards your approach with eyes older than your species.
The Great Migration
The Great Migration is the world’s largest terrestrial mammal migration, involving over 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 gazelles traversing the Serengeti ecosystem across Tanzania and Kenya.
